from Passion

Flour & Story started in a home kitchen in 2018 when founder Claire Navarro began selling sourdough loaves to neighbors. What started as a hobby became a calling.

Within a year, Claire had a waitlist. By 2020 she opened a small storefront on Maple Street. Today our team of six bakes everything by hand each morning before sunrise.

We partner with local farms, use organic flour whenever possible, and believe that good food made with care is always worth it. No shortcuts, no preservatives, just honest craft.

Every loaf is slow-fermented, every croissant laminated by hand. We never cut corners to move faster.

We source from Oregon farms whenever possible and change our menu with the seasons.

We donate day-old bread to local shelters every evening. A good bakery feeds more than appetites.
